Something changed: One extremist's thoughts on twelve unquiet months

The texts in this collection were all originally written for the Cautiously Pessimistic blog hosted at between October 2010 and September 2011. Quite a lot happened during that time. Most of them were written in response to a specific event at a specific time, usually in the UK: they are reproduced here in the hope that people outside of that very specific context may still find something useful about them.

Contains critical notes on the student/youth revolt of winter 2010, the left, UK Uncut, anti-fascism, solidarity and selfishness, Israel's emerging social movement, the media, the Labour Party, radical academics, and the riots of August 2011, among other things.

(Re-uploaded cos I messed up the content tags the first time around, admins please feel free to delete the previous version.)
